Deep ruby. Black plum, blackberry and sweet spice carry through to a plush, velvety palate. Full-bodied but not clumsy—freshness snaps the lines taut. Primitivo doing what it does best: bold, warming, and dangerously drinkable.

Production

Hand-harvested grapes were fermented in stainless steel at controlled temperatures. A short maceration gave colour and supple tannins without heaviness. Brief maturation in tank preserved freshness and varietal purity.

Vinyard

Organically farmed vineyards in Salento, rooted in clay-limestone soils that balance structure and water retention. Warm Mediterranean days are tempered by sea breezes from the Adriatic and Ionian, keeping fruit in check. Careful pruning and crop thinning ensure concentration without over-ripeness.

Pairing

Perfect with tomato-based pasta, grilled meats, or rich cheeses. For a local touch, try it alongside orecchiette with ragù.
